A native of Barrington, Rhode Island, Sarah is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy. Sarah also graduated from The Boston Conservatory with her Masters degree and Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance.

 

Not new to the stage, Sarah has appeared in operatic and musical theater productions throughout the New England area. At the Conservatory, her recent roles include Peep-Bo in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, The Dew Fairy in Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel, Lisette in Puccini's La Rondine, First spirit in Mozart's The Magic Flute and as Little Red in Little Red's Most Unusual Day, a children's opera by John Davies. Sarah has also appeared in numerous productions overseas, singing the role of Amor in Orfeo ed Euridice and Suor Osmina in Suor Angelica in Parma, Italy with Flagstaff in Fidenza.

 

Sarah recently became a Boston Opera Collaborative Member Artist and in July 2014, made her debut with the company as Cis in Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring. In 2015, she played Emily in Our Town, an opera by Ned Rorem based on the Thornton Wilder play. In addition to performing, she also teaches private voice lessons in downtown Boston and serves as Assistant Director of Admissions (Theater and Voice Representative) at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. 

Sarah is a student of Patty Thom, chair of Voice and Opera at The Boston Conservatory.
